Additional Information
The Rural Media Company and the Worcestershire GRT Partnership Task Group worked closely together to produce a DVD/film which puts a concise and well argued case for meeting the accommodation needs of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller families.
The Rural Media Company went out and about in the West Midlands and Eastern Regions, hearing from Gypsies and Travellers about their accommodation needs and the consequences of continued eviction. Also featured in the DVD, local authority officers, parish and district councillors and the police give their professional recommendations for future good practice.

Funded by the Equality and Human Rights Commission, the film is aimed at planning, housing, education and diversity professionals and the police, as well as councillors, residents' groups, the general public and the press. It looks behind the shock/horror taboid headlines, which instil prejudice and fear into the settled population and provides an accessible and informative resource to facilitate discussion and build bridges in local communities.
