Rural Writes
The Rural Writes project encouraged new talent by providing young people from across the Rural West Midlands with screenwriting workshops run by professional screenplay writers. The areas covered included choosing an idea, exploring the story, character development, style, and shooting and editing a 2-minute trailer. The project's finale was a pitching session where the trailers were presented to a panel of judges.
