Diabetes - A Guide For Gypsies, Roma and Travellers was commissioned by Diabetes UK. Having already produced an information pack for the Chinese community, Diabetes UK came to the Travellers' Times team at The Rural Media Company for their expertise in involving Travellers in the production and ensuring that the result is really user-friendly and accessible.

The short colourful booklet sets the scene for how to recognise diabetes, and the accompanying audio CD presents some key conversations between Traveller volunteers about how to manage the condition and how to look after yourself if you discover you are a diabetic.
