"GET A JOB, GET PAID, GET TRAINED!"
The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Learning + Skills Council commissioned The Rural Media Company to produce a video pack for Connexions Personal Advisors to use in schools and job centres, giving young people an insight into and an enthusiasm for Modern Apprenticeships.
Without compromising on slickness and quality and by playing to The Rural Media Company’s strength, we used peer education techniques and the authentic voices of local young people to speak directly to pupils in school classes. We sought out lively young people who could demonstrate and talk from the heart about their own work-based training and their future aims and this has proved very effective in engaging those pupils who do not see themselves continuing in full time education.
