"What makes Sticks and Stones special is that the films will be made by and feature the people who know about the issue best - young gay men and lesbians themselves. We hope their efforts will produce a resource that will make a real difference to a problem that affects young people." - Sam Hyde, The Camelot Foundation
The Camelot Foundation is an independent grant making trust that is funded by an annual £2m donation that it receives from the company that runs the National Lottery.
Each year it focuses on giving grants to voluntary organisations that work in the particular field of activity that it is supporting under its current programme.

The Rural Media Company brings community and informal education, training and advocacy together with professional filmmaking and media industry skills.
We work throughout the UK with local, regional and national partners in public, voluntary and independent organisations, to develop short and long term projects, as well as undertaking commissions for video/DVD within our Capture & Showcase service.
We developed the idea, made the submission for funding and are responsible for the successful management of the "Sticks and Stones " Project until July 2008.
