Bleeding Poof is the latest short film by The Rural Media Company. Directed by John Humphreys, the film is a a dark, edgy short drama set in a not-so-idyllic community where filthy looks and cruel jibes have very shocking results. 

Bleeding Poof was created as part of the Sticks and Stones project. The project brought together isolated lesbian, gay and bi-sexual young men and women in a project that actively challenges homophobic prejudice and bullying.

An on-line forum was created to capture the experiences and ideas of young LGB people and then they worked with us to create Bleeding Poof.  The trailer was created by Thom Buttery with music by Kim Humphrey.
