Cultural Programme Coordinator AND Communications and Content Officer
Herefordshire’s a Great Place is an ambitious cultural development project, co-funded by Heritage Lottery Fund and Arts Council England with support from Historic England. Now the project is moving fast into a delivery phase with public events, activities and grant schemes we’re looking for a Cultural Programme Coordinator (FT) and a Communications and Content Officer (PT) to start immediately.
The Great Place Cultural Programme Co-ordinator will co-curate, schedule and deliver a wide range of events and activities to help Herefordshire’s a Great Place reach its aims and objectives. The right person in this post will stimulate cultural debate across the county of Herefordshire, support communities to get more involved, work closely with culture sector leaders and professionals, and help build a strong future for arts and heritage in a rural county.
The Great Place Communications and Content Officer (Part Time) will make sure the story of Herefordshire’s cultural offer is told far and wide and be responsible for creating and curating rich-media content that aligns with the Great Place objectives for a new culture website, social media platforms and newsletters.
Both roles will be supported by and work closely with the Project Manager, Great Place partners, Rural Media and Herefordshire’s a Great Place Steering Group. Herefordshire’s a Great Place is delivered by Rural Media on behalf of the Herefordshire Cultural Partnership.
