  • Salary: Scale 6 £31,537 - £33,699 per annum

  • Contract: Fixed Term 12-month contract to start September 2026 with an option to extend

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Are you passionate about film, television and helping the next generation of creatives thrive?

Rural Media is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Producer & Creative Facilitator to join our Creative Learning team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with production experience who is equally inspired by developing emerging talent.

Working alongside industry professionals, you'll help design, produce and deliver innovative film, television and digital media training programmes for young people. You'll play a leading role in developing and delivering a programme of short-form ScreenSkills courses, while supporting participants to build confidence, develop practical production skills and take their next steps into the creative industries.

This is a varied role combining creative producing, workshop facilitation, project coordination and and industry engagement – whether that's planning a new training programme, supporting a film shoot or leading a practical workshop.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about film, television and creative learning.

  • An excellent organiser and communicator.

  • Comfortable leading workshops and supporting young people.

  • Experienced in production or content creation.

  • Excited about making the screen industries more accessible to people from rural and underrepresented communities.
