Supported by The Baring Foundation, Back To The Future brought together older people living in residential homes with young people from Supported Housing Foyers in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The project engaged older people in arts activities, learning new digital skills and working creatively younger people.
I’ve never done anything like this before, it was a new experience and you’re never too old to learn...I really enjoyed it!
Getting Close and A Letter Every Day were the resulting films of the Back To The Future project. Made in close collaboration with the residents who contributed to the script development, performed on screen and assisted with the technical aspects of the filmmaking demonstrating the power of creative projects to reduce isolation and build positive cross generation relationships.
