Nightstop Kidderminster

Youth & Education

Wyre Forest Nightstop is a charity that works to prevent homelessness of young people aged 16-25 in Kidderminster. We produced a series of compelling  short films telling the stories of the young people in their own words

It was an amazing experience and I hope we can make others aware how serious being homeless is and how much Nightstop helped me and how much we need more organisations like them. It was an amazing experience to see how films are made and Rural Media gave us the once in a lifetime opportunity to be involved and I count myself very lucky.

  • The films were created out of workshops with 3 young people who had overcome homelessness through the help of Nightstop. As well as providing Nightstop with promotional material, the 2 of the films have been acquired by Channel 4 as part of the Random Acts project. The team for Channel 4’s Am I Normal have contacted us after seeing one short film, and asked the particpant to get involved in writing a blog entry for their site about her experiences to further raise awareness of the issues raised.
